Product Information
Each piece in the range is designed to enhance rather than dominate its surroundings and whether sealed against ageing or allowed to develop a rich patina of mosses and lichen, it will look beautiful amongst your planting or set into your lawn as a feature. The technique of casting or reconstituting stone as a way of producing garden statuary and architectural embellishment has been used since the 1920s indeed some early pieces have sold at auction for many times the original price. Each Garden Utililty piece is hand cast and hand finished using this technique giving a finished texture very close to natural Bath stone. Each Garden Utility piece is guaranteed for 10 years against frost damage and should last you a lifetime.

Placement and Care
Each piece comes with detailed instructions on placement, care and assembly when relevant. A white mineral salt deposit called "efflorescence" may sometimes occur on reconstituted stone products. This does gradually disappear with age but can be removed with an acid agent.

Making a Purchase
We do not offer presently a shopping cart service. Pieces from our range will be on sale at Garden shows in the near future. Details will be updated on this site.

Ordering
Some items are kept in stock but generally the piece will be made to order. On receipt of a written order (by letter or email) we will contact you to confirm the order before proceeding with the making of the goods. We aim for a 28 day turnaround from clearance of cheque to dispatch.

Payment
Cheques or postal orders with order. If for any reason we are unable to meet the deadline, we will inform you before the deadline expires and, unless a revised date is agreed, we will refund you within 30 days.

Delivery
All prices are ex-works and delivery can be organised for an additional charge. Delivery charges will vary on weight of the piece and postcode. Delivery charges will be quoted prior to ordering and stated in the acknowledgment of order. Please ring for quotes and delivery times. Alternatively, you may collect the item yourselves when practical to save on cost.

Private Policy
Garden Utility does not disclose buyers' information to third parties.

Returns/Refund Policy
Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please do not accept it and contact us immediately whereby we will arrange for a replacement.

If the item is not to your liking, you must inform us within 7 days of receipt of order, and goods must be returned within 14 days. Returned goods must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund. Refunds will be given within 30 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation. Delivery charges for sending and returning cancelled goods will be charged to the buyer.

Items tailor-made for the buyer (i.e: individual colourways) will not be refunded.

Erection/Installation
The erection and installation of the Goods is the Buyer's sole responsibility. Installation information sheets are provided with the Twist Birdbath.

Guarantee
We will not be liable for any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, incorrect movement, installation or erection, failure to follow the Seller's instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the goods without our approval.

With proper use, your piece will last for a lifetime. It is advised that birdbath bowls are emptied when frost occurs to avoid cracking. Basic care instructions will be provided with each piece.

Disclaimer
Prices may vary according to fluctuation of raw materials. Coloured Planters may vary slightly as they are hand-cast. The price of Goods shall be the price quoted by us and confirmed in the Order acknowledgement.

Moulds
Any mould created or commissioned remains the property of Garden Utility.

Design
The design of all pieces remains with the proprietors of Garden Utility. You may not claim intellectual or exclusive rights to the design of any of our products, modified or unmodified.
